Andi's Poodle Party

Andi Kristyne is now 6 years old!!!

For the past 5 months (since our last child's birthday) she has been talking about what she would like to do for her birthday. What stuck as of two weeks before 'the day' was the idea of having a 50's party with poodle skirts and cupcakes and glass coke bottles and most importantly PINK!!! when asked by anyone if there was something she would like for her birthday the answer was always "pink" and a cute little grin!

Sooo.... We went to the fabric store and got some felt and a few poodles and some accessories to make them 'fun'. We found some polo shirts at Old Navy...invited some special friends over...THEN...
WE DANCED!!!!!!!!

Cupcakes with Candles, six of them!!

They decorated cupcakes until we ran out of icing! I think some of them had more icing on them than cupcake, which I am sure tasted WONDERFUL to the taste buds of a six year old!
In between raindrops we went outside for some fresh air. Andi originally wanted to have a party in the field...but, well yeah, it didn't work out!
Thank you EVERYONE for helping us spoil our little Andi for her birthday and making it a special day for her!

The girls and I had fun putting all the skirts together and getting all of the measurements from Andi's friends and figuring out what poodle goes on what color of skirt... IT was a blast!!
