PICTURE POST!!!! (if you want you may wade through these)
Vance, out for a freezing cold spring stroll in the yard.
We got to go spend a few days with my Dad in Bend. He treated us to a time of learning all about how he has been training his dog. Hunter (the dog) is amazing and very well behaved! He even drinks out of a water bottle!
Nate M. sat for quite a while with his kite in the air. He's wanted to fly a kite for years and we've never had a working kite at the same time a good gust of wind. He used to run as fast as he could through the field trying to get his poor kite to fly! This was a dream come true for him.
Nate M. took Darbi out for a photo shoot. She was a happy model!
Our garden in the workings:
Nate (husband) dreamed for years of having his kids around the bar while he cooked them breakfast to order! He's so good at talking to the kids and involving them...he just makes things so fun!
One of the many critters we caught this spring. I think It's a bumble bee
The neighbor joined us for school a couple of times a week with her kiddos. We spent many hours reading and learning to read. She is a wonderful teacher, we all learned a ton from her training/skills!
We spend hours on the trampoline!
We turn all of our leftover fruits and veggies into juice. If we can't eat them all we try not to let it all go to waste.
Nate and the kids decided to try and make glass with sugar. It actually turned out pretty good, except for all the little fingers that had to have a 'lick'.
Our end-of-school frozen yogurt trip. The kids had a reading contest. Well actually I'm not so sure you would call it a contest but if they were able to log a certain amount of reading hours by the end of school then we would take them to YoFactory in our home town.
OMSI fun!
We made our own 'clock' outside. It actually worked!
My mighty hunter! His first mole, all alone!
Grandpa took the boys out to a fond where they were sure to catch fish. And they did!
Of course, we can't have a spring without going to the park at least once!
And last but not least is a view of what we found in our entry on the way out one morning. He was fishing. He had his little lunch box and his broken bow for a fishing pole. He was singing some song, waiting for a fish to bite. Someone needs to take this little guy out fishing!!
